 A V.I.P. Tours of New York Exclusive:  You can choose to have the entire group see the same show, or you can give your guests the opportunity to choose their own shows from a list containing every Broadway play and music. 

  • We will obtain house seats or the equivalent for each show chosen.

A private Broadway entertainment and in-depth discussion with three cast members, each from a different hit Broadway musical, accompanied on the piano by the keyboardist from the hit musical “Wicked.”  As a gift, guests will receive a recently released CD, containing songs written by our pianist and sung by many of Broadway’s leading musical artists.  This could be preceded or followed by an expert-led walking exploration of the renaissance of 42nd Street and the Times Square Theatre District.  Weekday or weekend mornings.  Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday afternoons.

     Meet a Celebrity Broadway Producer, Director, Actor, Costume Designer, Set Designer, Company Manager, Entertainment Lawyer, etc.  This could be preceded or followed by an expert-led walking exploration of the renaissance of 42nd Street and the Times Square Theatre District.  Weekday mornings or afternoons. 

    A private, behind-the-scenes visit to one of the world’s Most Beautiful Art Nouveau Theatres, including a private meeting with the Vice President of Disney Theatricals, which restored the Theatre.  Guests will be accompanied by the person most responsible for the organization’s landmark designation.  This would be followed by an expert-led walking exploration of the renaissance of 42nd Street and the Times Square Theatre District.  Weekday mornings.

A private, behind-the-scenes visit to Radio City Music Hall, including private discussions with the long-time Creative Producer of the Rockettes, a Radio City Music Hall Rockette, and the person most responsible for the Music Hall’s landmark designation.  This would be accompanied by an expert-led walking exploration of the art and architecture of Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, and Park Avenue.  Weekday/Weekend mornings or afternoons. 

An unforgettable private performance by public school children who are being taught Broadway Musical acting/singing/dancing by Rosie O’Donnell and some of Broadway’s most talented musical actors.  This could be preceded or followed by an expert-led walking exploration of Hell’s Kitchen and the Times Square Theatre District.   Select weekday afternoons/Saturday morning/afternoon.

A private visit to Harlem’s legendary Apollo theatre, hosted by the unforgettable, New York Times-designated “Soul of the Apollo Theatre.” Guests will receive a complimentary, signed copy of the history of the Apollo Theatre, written by our host.  This would be accompanied by a walking architectural exploration of one of Harlem’s most beautiful residential neighborhoods, expertly led by the person in large part responsible for the NYC landmark designation of many historic districts such as this one.  Weekday/Weekend mornings.  Select weekday/weekend afternoons.

Private exploration of the renaissance of the Theatre District and the redevelopment of 42nd Street, led by the person in large part responsible for the NYC Landmark Designation of 35 Broadway Theatres and 7 Theatres on 42nd Street.  Weekday/Weekend mornings or afternoons. 

Performance of a Broadway celebrity at the Theatre District’s newest cabaret; private discussion with New York’s pre-eminent cabaret impresario, who will share with us a hidden world of celebrity stories. 

A private visit to one of New York’s Pre-Eminent Theatre Companies, including private meetings with members of the organization’s Executive and Artistic Staffs.  This could be preceded or followed by an expert-led walking exploration of the renaissance of 42nd Street and the Times Square Theatre District.   Select weekday mornings and afternoons.

A private visit to our Theatre World’s most prestigious private club, located in the former town house of our country’s most famous actor in the late 1800s. This would be accompanied by an expert-led walking exploration of the architecture around Gramercy Park and Union Square, including a visit to Gramercy Park, usually closed to the public.  Weekday mornings or afternoons.

A private visit to a Broadway Costume Shop as hosted by a costumiére; Weekday mornings or afternoons.

A private meeting with a member of the Executive Staff of the organization whose responsibility has been the rejuvenation of Times Square, the creation of the Broadway Pedestrian Plaza, and the presentation of Times Square’s world-famous New Year’s Eve celebration.  Weekday mornings or afternoons.

Private visit to one of our country’s major Theatre Memorabilia Collections, hosted by its Curator.  This could be accompanied by a walking architectural exploration of the mansions of the Upper East Side, expertly led by the person in large part responsible for this neighborhood to be designated a NYC historic district.  Weekday mornings or afternoons. 

For groups from theatres which are planning a renovation, we will be able to arrange a private visit to the studio of one of our country’s finest Decorative Arts Company, most recently responsible for the restoration of the lobbies of Rockefeller Center and the Empire State Building, as well as theatres, capitols and historic buildings across the U.S. Select weekday mornings and afternoons.

Private visit to the headquarters of Actor’s Equity; private meeting with the Originators of the Gypsy Robe Traditional Ceremony, which is held backstage on opening night for each show in order to honor actors making their Broadway debut.  Select weekday mornings or afternoons.

Private visit to one of Broadway’s largest and finest set design collections, hosted by its Curator.  This would be accompanied by a coach exploration of some of Brooklyn’s most beautiful and interesting neighborhoods and architecture, expertly led by the person in large part responsible for the landmark designation of many Brooklyn neighborhoods as historic districts.  Select weekday mornings or afternoons.

Meet Select Members of the Cast following a Broadway Performance.

 

A ride on the world-famous Staten Island Ferry, followed by private visits to New York’s Second Oldest Theatre, and New York’s most ornate, privately owned Motion Picture Palace.  Select weekday/weekend mornings or afternoons.

A full day scenic excursion to the 1876 Goodspeed Opera House in Haddam, CT – creator of the nationally renown Goodspeed Musical; this journey would include a private tour of the Opera Houses’ extensive offsite technical facilities;  lunch in an historic 19th Century house; matinee performance of a Goodspeed musical; dinner on your own in the college town of New Haven; expert-led exploration of the lovely Yale University Quad..  Saturday or Sunday.
